In a series of lectures delivered over the course of a year to Berlin Freie University’s European Master Class on Sustainable Community Design, Mrs. Thomson invited her students to share in understanding a vision for building stable and sustainable communities which provide people with an elevated quality of life. In the course, composed of top architecture students from around Europe, Mrs. Thomson focused heavily on a pinnacle project: SaddleHorn.


SaddleHorn has won numerous awards and was selected as the top planned sustainable community in America by the President of the World Green Building Council (WGBC) and by Fairway Living Magazine as one of the 10 Best New Projects in America. Gesine seeks to convey these methodologies to a generation of students, planners and emerging architects who will build the cities and communities that frame our lives.

Gesine lectures extensively around the World to business and political leaders and students on the Creative Process , Sustainability Planning , Architecture and Community Design.
